different destination bc they’re trying to distract you by getting it
off then abducting you. Same thing goes if you find something on your
windshield, it’s a distraction so they have time to get you.WTF? Is this real?

The department said it’s recieved no reports of human
trafficking, kidnappings or attempted kidnappings relating to human
trafficking. Officers also have not received reports of black zip ties
being used as a means to mark a crime target.(…)
After tracking down more information, police learned the person who
created the original post was not the owner of the pictured vehicle and
had copied the claim as a means to alert women about human trafficking.i’m not saying it’s not possible or that you shouldn’t express caution if something like that happens to you/your car, but also until there’s an actual source that talks about it actually happening anywhere i’m skeptical
it’s worth noting that the odds of you being randomly targeted and abducted by traffickers by force are phenomenally low. this applies with basically any rumor post like this. the unfortunate fact is the greatest risk is people you know, and people attempting to get close to you specifically to gain your trust, and it’s probably more productive to know red flags to look out for (many of which overlap with abuse red flags in general) than “these odd, specific things may be a warning for sex trafficking because of unsubstantiated claims on the internet, maybe”
