The Most Underrated Scene in Carry On:
“Then Baz’s dad comes home from work. He still seems confounded by my presence, but he’s thrilled to meet Penny and Agatha—even though I know he doesn’t get along with their parents. Maybe he just has nice manners. Baz keeps rolling his eyes.”
GUYS. I have never once seen anyone talk about this scene, but it’s soO funny to me.
Baz’s dad is clearly excited bc Baz has girls over. I mean hello, he can hardly accept that Baz is gay, and I guess here he thinks maybe Baz has cHaNgEd hiS MiNd (which is obviously ridiculous hence Baz’s eyerolling).

baz: and did my mother say anything else?
simon: she uh… she kissed me on the forehead and told me to give it to you
baz, voice cracking: o–okay
You know what I love about Snowbaz? After that first kiss, Simon doesn’t go into an angsty denial phase where he vehemently tries to forget what happened and is all “I’m not gay!” and “I hate you! That was a fluke!”
Nope. He’s just like: “Welp, I guess I’m in love with my mortal enemy now.” and proceeds to kiss the cross burn on Baz’s palm, boost him up emotionally, insist that he’s alive despite being a vampire, and ask to be his terrible boyfriend.
Fucking. Yes.

penny: okay
baz: sure
simon: if you want to live give me all your money
penny: bold of you to assume that i have money
baz: bold of you to assume i want to live
