neo nazis aren’t an alternate political party. they’re not “far right.” they’re murderers. don’t enable murderers. nazism needs to be ripped from the seams of this government and this culture and then, and only then, can we celebrate anything. because make no mistake, this weekend was a dark chapter in America, but if you think it’s anything new or different, you obviously aren’t Jewish.

Remember this summer when the Dyke Marches banned people for having a rainbow flag with a Star of David on it? I was accused of playing my “Jew card” too much when I tried to get my shitty goy roommate to stop making Auschwitz jokes.
Being anti-nazi does not equal support for the Jewish community. Do not claim you support Jews just because you recognize that Nazis are terrible. Surprise, we actually have more to us than the Holocaust!

Trump blames Synagogue shooting on the Synagogue for not having “better protection”. You know, instead of the white supremacist shooter who yelled “All Jews must die!” with an assault weapon and killed jewish people.
Lets not forget last year he called the nazis in Charlottesville “very fine people”.
Hey, I saw a few posts about donating to synagogues or Jewish charities with multiples of $18, because it’s Jewish tradition, which is true. The number 18 in Hebrew is represented by characters that for the word chai (with a hard ch, not like the drink), which means life, so it’s considered meaningful.
But just so you know:
(1) It’s totally okay if you give a different amount. No one is going to say “They gave us $10, they must disrespect us and our traditions.” Unless you give, like, literally the Nazi numbers (*gestures at Milo*), they’re going to say “How kind that this person thought of us at all.”
(2) If you want to donate a multiple of chai but $18 or $36 or whatever is out of your price range, $1.80 (or multiples thereof) also carries with it same meaning. On behalf of every broke Jewish grad student, I can vouch for the fact that this is 1000% acceptable and welcome.
(3) You even thinking about giving to the Jewish community means a lot. It’s a reminder we’re not alone. So, thank you.

Anti-semitism is always happening. High school boys drawing swastikas because they think it’s funny. People dressing up as Hitler for halloween. People profiling such as making fun of curly hair and large noses.
And when our own get blatantly murdered, I only see jewish people talking about it.
The leader of our country blames the synagogue for being attacked by an armed gunman.
People try to turn this into an anti-gun argument.
This was a hate crime that resulted in the loss of 11 human lives. Please acknowledge this. Please let this have some impact. Do not let this be forgotten or slip by unnoticed. This was a horrible event that should not be discarded
Hey. Im not seeing a single person talking about this on here and its important. Theres been another mass shooting, this time in my home city, in a synagogue that I pass by regularly. A 48 y/o white man walked in during prayer and shouted “All Jews must die!” Before opening fire with an assault rifle and three pistols. He was actively shooting for 20 minutes before being stopped by SWAT and had killed 11 and injured 6, including 4 police officers injured. The suspect lived 15 minutes from my house, and many families I know have friends or relatives affected by this tragedy. The FBI is investigating currently, but the public needs to know about this. I am hoping to conferr with Jewish people in my school about holding a vigil at our school, and I am encouraging news about this to be spread here as well. Antisemitism cannot be allowed in the United States. Mass shootings can not be allowed in the United States. Vote appropriately, educated others, and stand for the belief that hate has no place in our America. Most of all, my heart goes out to my friends and community members affected by thus tragedy today.
Goyim, now is the time rally in support towards the Jewish community, and make sure not one Jewish person feels unsafe due to their faith. Prove that your hatred of antisemitism isn’t performative. Talking about how you want to punch Nazis is all fine and good, but be sure to actually deliver on your promises to combat antisemitic rhetoric, and to provide support for your local Jewish community as well. Be vocal about your hatred of fascism and antisemitism. Donate in support of nearby synagogues, and be sure to make sure your Jewish friends and neighbors know that you care. Be aware of Nazi hate symbols and antisemitic dog whistle terms, and make sure you point them out if you come across them. Don’t let antisemites feel comfortable spreading their bigotry and hate. Make them afraid to leave their houses ever again. And make the world a safer place for the Jewish community.
