I know plenty of people who are put at unease or generally can’t handle puppets.
So. I’d like to say two things:
First: Don’t feel obligated to suffer through something you dont feel comfortable with. You can request people to tag the puppet gifs if you need. Most people will be nice and tag it for you. (Myself included) Also, you don’t have to watch the episode, it’s ok. It’s not required, you can still enjoy the content surrounding it, you can still enjoy the fandom and you can still enjoy the series. It’s ok to skip an episode.
Two: I’m considering the idea of drawing small segments of the video content as comics and replacing the puppets with the sides in their regular appearance so people can still enjoy at least parts of the video’s content without stress.
However, it would be time consuming, and I would need to take time to both pick sections to draw (and also transcribe.) So I don’t want to do it without a good number of people who agree it’s a good idea. So please send in some input on that matter (you can say ‘no dont to it’ too).
Take care of yourselves and let yourself be comfortable in how you enjoy the series. Don’t hurt yourself in doing something that should be fun.

As someone who finds deep comfort in the Sanders’ Sides series, but is terrified of puppets: Please, please do. It’s been killing me that I waited 6 months for the next episode, only to be met with something that scares me too much to watch. I would love it if you ever posted this on tumblr if you could tag me. ❤️
